Privacy Policy

What Renea AI collects, why, and the control you have over it.

1What we collect

Your account email and name (via our authentication provider), the manuscripts you upload, the audio we generate for you, and basic usage records (renders, quota) needed to run the service.

2How we use it

Solely to operate Renea AI: to parse your books, produce your audiobooks, enforce your plan quota, bill you, and email you when a render is ready. We do not sell your data or use your manuscripts to train models.

3Processors

We rely on trusted providers for authentication, payments, cloud storage, GPU rendering, and transactional email. They process data on our behalf under their own security commitments.

4Abuse prevention

To keep the free preview sustainable and prevent fraud, we assess sign-ups and uploads for signs of abuse. This uses privacy-conscious signals — one-way hashes of manuscript text (never the text itself), the email domain, and, where available, network and device signals — combined into a risk score. We store hashes and tokens rather than raw identifiers, apply retention limits, and no single signal determines an outcome. Decisions are logged and reviewable, and you can appeal. We do not block users simply for using a VPN or a shared network.

5Retention

We keep your manuscripts and audio while your account is active. On the Free plan, generated audio is automatically removed 60 days after a render to manage storage — your manuscripts, settings, and history are kept, and you can re-render anytime; paid plans retain generated audio for the life of the account. Deleting a project or your account removes the associated files from storage. We may retain minimal billing records as required by law.

6Your rights

You can export your data or delete your account at any time from Settings. Depending on your location you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA; contact us to exercise them.
